Description
Recommended products
23456-Pentafluoroanisole 98%
Application
DMP is commonly used as a water scavenger in water-sensitive reactions -- any available water will react with DMP to form acetone and methanol.
Purpose
For R&D use onlynot for drug household or other uses.
General Description
22-Dimethoxypropane (DMP) is an organic building block commonly employed as a precursor to generate 2-methoxypropene (MPP). The degradation study of DMP in ionic liquids showed the formation of MPP and 2-ethoxypropene (EPP) in an identical ratio due to the tunneling effect.
