General Description
2-Ethoxybenzaldehyde is used as a reagent in the synthesis of triazolotriazines and triazinylhydrazones which have DNA photocleavage activity. Also used as a reagent in the synthesis of amino(dimethoxydihydroindenylideneamino)oxodihydropyridinedicarbonitrile derivatives which exhibit antibacterial and antifungal activity.
