Application
4-(1-Pyrrolidinyl)piperidine was employed for the synthesis of the following analogs 4-pyrrolidin-1-yl-1-[2-(2-nitro-phenyl)-2-oxo-ethyl]-piperidinium bromide 4-pyrrolidin-1-yl-1-[2-(3-nitro-phenyl)-2-oxo-ethyl]-piperidinium bromide 4-pyrrolidin-1-yl-1-[2-(24-dimethoxy-phenyl)-2-oxo-ethyl]-piperidinium bromide 4-pyrrolidin-1-yl-1-[2-(34-dihydroxy-phenyl)-2-oxo-ethyl]-piperidinium bromide.

General Description
4-(1-Pyrrolidinyl)piperidine (4-pypp) has been reported to form Hofmann type complexes [M(4-pypp)2Ni(CN)4] (MNi or Co) and their FT-IR and Raman spectra have been studied.[2]FT-IR Raman spectra and the vibrational spectra of 4-pypp have been recorded between 4000 and 400cm-1.
