Description
Application
Glyoxal solution has been used as a crosslinking agent during the synthesis of DNA-containing nanoparticles in a study. It has been used as derivatizing reagent in the precolumn fluorescence derivatization of N-terminal tryptophan containing peptides which can be separated via high performance liquid chromatography.
Purpose
For R&D use onlynot for drug household or other uses.
General Description
The product is 40wt.% solution of glyoxal in water. Glyoxal is a linear aliphatic dialdehyde containing two aldehyde groups. It participates in the synthesis of glyoxylic acid.
