Description

Application
Manganese(II) chloride tetrahydrate has been used in a loop-mediated isothermal amplification (LAMP) method for the detection of nucleic acids. Manganese(II) chloride tetrahydrate may be used As a promoter for the microwave-assisted synthesis of dihydropyrimidin-2(1H)-ones. To synthesize a manganese(II) adipate coordinate complex with antiferromangentic property below 15K.

Purpose
For R&D use onlynot for drug household or other uses.

General Description
Manganese(II) chloride describes a series of compounds with the formula MnCl2(H2O)x where the value of x can be 0 2 or 4. The tetrahydrate is the most common form of manganese(II) chloride and is represented by the formula MnCl24H2O but the anhydrous form and dihydrate MnCl22H2O are also known. Like many Mn(II) species these salts are pink with the paleness of the color being characteristic of transition metal complexes with high spin d5 configurations.
