Description
Recommended products
Ethyl (Phenylthio)Acetate 97.0%(GC)
Application
Trichloroacetic acid has been used for the precipitation of sLRP (soluble circulating low density lipoprotein receptor-related protein-1) isolated from plasma. It has been used for the extraction of ascorbic acid from plant samples. It has also been used for the preparation of ascorbate standards for ascorbate assay. It has been used for the precipitation of IMAC (immobilized metal ion affinity chromatography)-isolated phosphoproteins.
Purpose
For R&D use onlynot for drug household or other uses.
General Description
Trichloroacetic acid (TCA TCAA also known as trichloroethanoic acid) is an analogue of acetic acid in which the three hydrogen atoms of the methyl group have all been replaced by chlorine atoms. Salts and esters of trichloroacetic acid are called trichloroacetates.
