Description

Recommended products
2-Ethyl-5-Methylthiophene 99%

Application
2-Ethoxyethanol (Ethylene glycol monoethyl ether) has been used in zebrafish embryotoxicity test (ZET).It can act like a co-surfactant in the separation of highly hydrophobic analytes via microemulsion electrokinetic chromatography and solvent-modified micellar electrokinetic chromatography.

Purpose
For R&D use onlynot for drug household or other uses.

General Description
2-Ethoxyethanol is a glycol ether. It has been reported as a precursor for ethoxyacetic acid (EAA).Various physical properties (density refractive index viscosity and speed of sound) of its binary mixtures withn-alkanes 224-trimethylpentane and cyclohexane have been evaluated.High-pressure vapor-liquid equilibrium (VLE) data of its binary mixtures with CO2have been reported. It can be used as a solvent in the spectrophotometric determination of iron(III) by using the ligandNN-bis(2-hydroxy-5-bromo-benzyl)12 diaminopropane (HBDAP).
