36-Dichloropyridazine is used as a reagent in the synthesis of diorganodiselenides which show anti-proliferative effects against human MCF-7 breast cancer cells. Also a reagent in the synthesis of new pyrazolone-pyridazine conjugates as anti-inflammatory and analgesic agents.
