Application
1-Bromo-23-dimethyl-benzene is a useful synthetic intermediate. It is used as a reagent to synthesize vaniprevir. It can also be used to synthesize various piperidine derivatives e.g. 4-arylpiperidines and cinnamoylpiperidine which are 5-HT2C agonist and PAR1 antagonist respectively.
