Description
Application
-Nicotinamide mononucleotide (NMN) is used to study binding motifs within RNA aptamers and ribozyme activation processes involving -nicotinamide mononucleotide (-NMN)-activated RNA fragments.
Purpose
For R&D use onlynot for drug household or other uses.
General Description
-Nicotinamide mononucleotide (-NMN) is an intermediate in the nicotinamide phosphoribosyltransferase (NAMPT)-catalyzed biosynthesis of nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD). NAMPT mediates the condensation of nicotinamide with 5-phosphoribosyl-1-pyrophosphate to produce -NMN. -NMN adenyltransferase subsequently converts -NMN to NAD.
