Description
Application
Lithium perchlorate trihydrate may be used to modify the membrane morphology of poly[(vinylidene fluoride)-co-trifluoroethylene] membranes by doping it with varying concentrations of LiClO4.3H2O.[4]It may be used to compose the polymer nanocomposite electrolyte (PNCE) films. When used as a co-catalyst accelerates the Baylis-Hillman reaction the coupling of -unsaturated carbonyls with aldehydes.
Purpose
For R&D use onlynot for drug household or other uses.
General Description
Crystal structure of lithium perchlorate trihydrate (LiClO4.3H2O) has been investigated by X-ray and neutron diffraction studies.[2]It exhibits pyroelectric properties.
