Description
Application
Decane has been used as a solvent in the preparation of high alkane phase emulsified suspensions (HAPES).It may also be used as a solvent to suspend the CdSeZnS nanocrystals during absorbance measurement. Internal standard in the GC analysis of oxalic malonic and succinic acids in biological materials.
Purpose
For R&D use onlynot for drug household or other uses.
General Description
Decane (n-Decane) an aliphatic hydrocarbon is a reference fuel. Its oxidation over a range of temperature has been studied.[2]Its crystal structure has been investigated at 150K.The cracking of decane can be performed using electrohydrodynamic atomization system (EHDA).
