Application
Nadifloxacin is used as a topical antibacterial which is bactericidal due to its capability of preventing the negative supercoiling of bacterial DNA. DNA supercoiling replication transcription are catalyzed by DNA gyrase. In Japan it is used to treat skin infection and acne.
