O-Acetylsalicyloyl Chloride 97%
Application
O-Acetylsalicyloyl chloride was used in the synthesis of enantiomerically pure bidentate heteroorganic ligands built on simple achiral skeletons and containing an aziridine moiety. It was used in the general synthesis of acetoxybenzamides. It was used in the chemical synthesis of 2266-tetramethyl-1-piperidinyloxy(TEMPO)-aspirin conjugate via condensation reaction with 4-hydroxy-TEMPO. It was used as reagent in acylation of cyclobutenediones.
Purpose
For R&D use onlynot for drug household or other uses.
General Description
O-Acetylsalicyloyl chloride is used in the derivatisation of amines and also improve electrochemical detection of these amines when they are run through high-performance liquid chromatography. O-Acetylsalicyloyl chloride is also used as a reagent to synthesize benzimidazole derivatives compounds that inhibit leukotriene synthesis.
