Application
Perylene has been used as a standard along with a mixture of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) to determine the spatial distribution and sources of PAHs in surface sediments of rivers.

Purpose
For R&D use onlynot for drug household or other uses.

General Description
The polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon perylene is a hydrophobic fluorescent probe.[3]It is highly photostable and displays blue fluorescence.[4]Perylene is used as a dye for spectroscopic studies.
