General Description
Phenol Red sodium salt is widely used as a pH indicator. At a pH of 6.4 and below phenol red solution will have a yellow color. At a pH of 8.2 and above it will have a red color.[4]It is commonly used in culture media to detect neutral to acidic pH changes.
