Description
Application
(RR)-DIPAMP can be used As a catalyst in the enantioselective [32] cycloaddition of -substituted allenoates with -perfluoroalkyl enones and 3-butynoates with electron-deficient olefins[2] to yield substituted cyclopentenes. To prepare its rhodium metal complexes which are used as catalysts in asymmetric hydrogenation reactions.
Purpose
For R&D use onlynot for drug household or other uses.
General Description
DIPAMP is an organophosphorus compound that is used as a ligand in homogeneous catalysis. It is a white solid that dissolves in organic solvents. Work on this compound by W. S. Knowles was recognized with the Nobel Prize in Chemistry. DIPAMP was the basis for of the first industrial scale asymmetric hydrogenation the synthesis of the drug L-DOPA.
