Application
1-Butanol is widely used as a solvent in paints coatings inks resins and adhesives. It is also used in the production of butyl acrylate butyl acetate plasticizers pharmaceuticals and other chemical intermediates.
Purpose
Its main purpose is as an industrial solvent for dissolving resins and as a precursor in organic synthesis offering good solvency with controlled volatility.
