Application
Used as colorimetric reagent for spectrophotometric determination of calcium in serum (610-665 nm) uraniumthorium detection and calcium transport studies in permeabilized cells.
Purpose
Forms intensely colored 11 chelates ( 10 at 665 nm) with tritetravalent metals in acidic media (pH 1-3) enabling ppb-level detection without hydrolysis interference.
