Description

Application
Benzothiazole and its derivatives are widely used in the rubber industry as accelerators in the vulcanization process. They are also used in the manufacture of dyes pharmaceuticals pesticides and corrosion inhibitors.

Purpose
The main purpose of benzothiazole is to enhance chemical reactions especially improving the strength and durability of rubber products. Additionally it serves as an important intermediate in synthesizing various industrial and medicinal compounds.

General Description
Benzothiazole is a heterocyclic aromatic compound consisting of a benzene ring fused with a thiazole ring containing both sulfur and nitrogen atoms. It appears as a colorless to pale yellow liquid or solid with a characteristic odor and shows good chemical stability.
