Application
Benzyl alcohol is widely used as a solvent in inks paints and epoxy resins as a preservative in pharmaceutical and cosmetic formulations and as a local anesthetic in injectable drugs. It also serves as an intermediate in the synthesis of esters and other organic compounds.
