Description
Application
It is applied in laboratories and industry to absorb and neutralize spilled hydrofluoric acid (HF) and other dilutesemi-concentrated acids like HNO converting them into non-hazardous dry powders.
Purpose
Its primary purpose is rapid spill cleanup with visual endpoint detection (color change) preventing fumes and burns while achieving 60% acid capacity (e.g. 160 g needed for 100 g of 25% HNO).
