Description
Application
Mainly used as a blowing agent for producing polyurethane and other polymer foams particularly in insulation materials and refrigeration applications. It is also used as a solvent and as a chemical intermediate.
Purpose
Its low boiling point and suitable thermal properties make it useful for creating closed-cell foam structures and providing effective thermal insulation.
