Description
Application
DMT-2-Fluoro-dG(iBu) Phosphoramidite is used as a specialized nucleoside phosphoramidite building block for the automated solid-phase synthesis of oligonucleotides containing 2-fluoro-modified guanosine residues.
Purpose
Its purpose is to introduce 2-fluoro-2-deoxyguanosine modifications into nucleic acid sequences to enhance nuclease resistance improve binding affinity and increase the stability and biological performance of modified oligonucleotides.
General Description
DMT-2-Fluoro-dG(iBu) Phosphoramidite is a protected guanosine derivative in which the 5-hydroxyl group is protected with a dimethoxytrityl (DMT) group the 2-position contains a fluorine atom instead of a hydroxyl group and the guanine base is protected with an isobutyryl (iBu) group allowing controlled incorporation into oligonucleotides during phosphoramidite-based synthesis.
