The purpose of DMT-2-O-Me-A(Bz) Phosphoramidite is to introduce a protected 2-O-methyladenosine nucleotide into an oligonucleotide sequence improving the stability nuclease resistance and binding properties of the final RNA molecule.

DMT-2-O-Me-A(Bz) Phosphoramidite is a chemically protected adenosine phosphoramidite in which the 5-hydroxyl group is protected with a dimethoxytrityl (DMT) group the exocyclic amino group is protected with a benzoyl (Bz) group and the 2-hydroxyl group is methylated making it suitable for automated solid-phase RNA synthesis.
