General Description
Heptane (CH) is a straight-chain alkane appearing as a clear colorless highly flammable liquid with a mild petroleum-like odor. It has a boiling point of 98.4C melting point of -90.6C density of 0.68 gcm and is insoluble in water but soluble in organic solvents.
