Description
Application
Used for moisture analysis of solids powders oils polymers pharmaceuticals chemicals fuels and other samples that are introduced into a Karl Fischer oven. The oven heats the sample releasing water vapor which is then measured coulometrically.
Purpose
To provide accurate and sensitive determination of very low levels of water (trace moisture) in samples by serving as the anolyte solution in the Karl Fischer coulometric titration process.
General Description
Coulomat AG Oven is an anolyte reagent used in coulometric Karl Fischer (KF) titration with an oven system for the determination of trace moisture (water content) in samples. It is typically methanol-based and is suitable for KF cells with or without a diaphragm.
