Description

Application
Used in metal refining soldering flux antioxidants and polymer synthesis like acetate fibers. Serves as an oxygen scavenger in boiler water treatment and a precursor for pharmaceuticals agrochemicals and dyes. Investigated (but unproven) for cancer cachexia treatment and as a fungicide.

Purpose
For R&D

General Description
Hydrazine sulfate appears as odorless water-soluble crystals stable under normal storage but hazardous due to toxicity and carcinogenicity. Prepared by neutralizing hydrazine with sulfuric acid at low temperatures it decomposes to release hydrazine upon heating.
