Description

Application
Versatile colorless and flammable alcohol widely used across industries. It serves as a solvent in chemical and pharmaceutical processes a feedstock for producing formaldehyde acetic acid and other chemicals and as a fuel in internal combustion engines and fuel cells. Additionally methanol is employed as a denaturant for ethanol an antifreeze agent and a reagent in laboratory applications such as chromatography and chemical synthesis.

For R&D

General Description
Methanol (CHOH) is the simplest alcohol a colorless volatile and flammable liquid with a slightly sweet odor. It is miscible with water and many organic solvents and is commonly used as a solvent fuel antifreeze and feedstock in chemical synthesis. Methanol is highly toxic if ingested inhaled or absorbed through the skin potentially causing blindness organ damage or death.
