Purpose
The main purpose of Miconazole is to inhibit the growth of fungi and yeasts by disrupting the synthesis of ergosterol in fungal cell membranes.

Miconazole is generally available as a white to off-white crystalline powder with broad-spectrum antifungal activity against dermatophytes yeasts and some gram-positive bacteria.
