Description
Application
1-Methyl-2-pyrrolidinone (NMP) is used as a solvent to evaluate the dispersion of acrylate polymers with graphene. It has also been employed in the fabrication of working electrodes for electrochemical measurements.
Purpose
For R&D
General Description
1-Methyl-2-pyrrolidinone (NMP) a tertiary amide is widely used as an organic solvent. It is involved in the sonochemical synthesis of high-quality MOF-177 (Metal-Organic Framework) crystals and participates in various chemical processes including the synthesis of cyanotrimethylsilane decarbonylation of aldehydes reduction of benzaldehydes and ketones to their corresponding alcohols and the preparation of natural products.
