Description
Application
Detergents and cleaning formulations. Personal care products (shampoos body washes creams). Industrial and household cleaners. Textile processing and dyeing auxiliaries. Emulsion polymerization. Agricultural formulations as a wettingspreading agent.
Purpose
Its primary purpose is to reduce surface tension enabling better mixing of oil and water phases improving wetting emulsification dispersion and cleaning efficiency in various formulations.
General Description
Polyethylene Glycol Monododecyl Ether is a nonionic surfactant composed of a dodecyl (C12) fatty alcohol linked to polyethylene glycol chains. It is a clear to slightly hazy liquid or paste depending on its molecular weight and ethoxylation degree. It exhibits excellent wetting emulsifying dispersing and detergency properties.
