Description

Application
It is widely used as a fertilizer to supply potassium to crops in medical treatments for hypokalemia (low potassium levels) as a salt substitute in food and in chemical manufacturing for potassium compounds and laboratory reagents.

Purpose
Its primary purpose is to provide essential potassium for plant growth and human electrolyte balance facilitating nerve function muscle contraction and acid-base regulation in physiological processes.

General Description
Potassium chloride (KCl) is a white crystalline or colorless granular salt composed of potassium and chloride ions odorless highly soluble in water and stable in air.
