Description

Application
It is applied in toothpaste and mouthwashes for dental health water fluoridation to prevent tooth decay as a wood preservative insecticide cleaning agent and in metallurgy glass production and medical imaging (as NaF-18).

Purpose
Its primary purpose is to strengthen tooth enamel by promoting remineralization and inhibiting bacterial acid production while also serving as a fluorinating agent in synthesis and extractive processes.

General Description
Sodium fluoride (NaF) is a white odorless crystalline powder that is highly soluble in water readily dissociating into Na and F ions and exhibits ionic bonding with corrosive effects on aluminum.
