Application
Used as a pH buffer in molecular biology electrophoresis and chromatography also in food as acidity regulator laxatives and detergents.
Purpose
Provides buffering near pH 4-7 (pKa 2.1 pKa 7.2 of phosphoric acid) for stable assays precipitations and water softening.
