Arachidic Acid Methyl Ester is used in biological studies to evaluate the antioxidant activity and chemical compounds of Capsicum annuum acuminatum during fruit ripening. This is the methyl analog of arachidic acid which is used for the production of detergents photographic materials and lubricants.
