Application
Dibenzyl malonate was used in the preparation of tetraethyl 33-bis(benzyloxycarbonyl)propylene bisphosphonate.[3]It was also used in the preparation of benzyl umbelliferone-3-carboxylate via Knoevenagel condensation with 24-dihydroxybezaldehyde.
