Description

Application
Resveratrol has been used in entrapment experiment to study its neuroprotective effect on retinal neuronal cell death mediated by diabetes-induced activation of Ca2calmodulin-dependent protein kinase II as a standard in the assessment of stilbene content in grapevine leaf by in vivo fluorometry.

Purpose
For R&D use onlynot for drug household or other uses.

General Description
Minor constituent of wine correlated with serum lipid reduction and inhibition of platelet aggregation. Resveratrol is a specific inhibitor of COX-1 and it also inhibits the hydroperoxidase activity of COX-1. It has been shown to inhibit events associated with tumor initiation promotion and progression.
