Description
Application
Arachidonic acid has been used in calibration curve generation in Raman spectroscopy and atomic force microscopy (AFM) in normal and breast cancer samples as a polyunsaturated fatty acid supplement to the reconstituted synthetic bile (RSB) in drug resistance analysis for the activation of mechanistic target of rapamycin 1 (mTOR1) and mTOR2.
Purpose
For R&D use onlynot for drug household or other uses.
General Description
Arachidonic Acid is an essential fatty acid and a precursor in the biosynthesis of prostaglandins thromboxanes and leukotrienes. Arachidonic Acid occurs in liver brain glandular organs and depot fats of animals in small amounts in human depot fats and Arachidonic Acid is also a constituent of animal phosphatides.
