Description
Application
D-Ribose(mixture of isomers) is an energy enhancer and acts as a sugar moiety of ATP and widely used as a metabolic therapy supplement for chronic fatigue syndrome or cardiac energy metabolism. D-Ribose(mixture of isomers) is active in protein glycation induces NF-B inflammation in a RAGE-dependent manner
Purpose
For R&D use onlynot for drug household or other uses.
General Description
Ribose is a carbohydrate with the formula C5H10O5 specifically it is a pentose monosaccharide (simple sugar) with linear form H(CO)(CHOH)4H which has all the hydroxyl groups on the same side in the Fischer projection. The term may refer to either of two enantiomers. The term usually indicates D-ribose which occurs widely in nature and is discussed here. Its synthetic mirror image L-ribose is not found in nature.
