Description

Application
Tris(dibenzylideneacetone)dipalladium(0) or [Pd2(dba)3] is an organopalladium compound. The compound is a complex of palladium(0) with dibenzylideneacetone (dba). It is a dark-purplebrown solid which is modestly soluble in organic solvents. Because the dba ligands are easily displaced the complex is used as a homogeneous catalyst in organic synthesis.

Purpose
For R&D use onlynot for drug household or other uses.

General Description
Tris(dibenzylideneacetone)dipalladium(0) (Pd2(dba)3) participates in the synthesis of azepane.[12]Crystal structure of Pd2(dba)3has been determined by three-dimensional X-ray data. Crystals of Pd2(dba)3are reported to crystalize in triclinic system.[13]It is widely used Pd(0) source in Pd-mediated transformations.
