Application
Span 80 has been used in a study to assess transfersomes as a transdermal delivery system for sertraline. It has also been used in a study to investigate the dominant factors affecting the stability of nanoemulsions through the use of artificial neural networks (ANNs).
Purpose
To act as an emulsifier helping mix and stabilize oil and water phases.
