Hydrazine monohydrate has been used to synthesize 2-(6-ethylamino-3-ethylimino-27-dimethyl-3H-xanthen-9-yl)benzoic acid hydrazideand vinyl-benzylamine hydrochloride.It may also be used as a source of hydrogen via decomposition in the presence of supported bimetallic catalyst composed of Ni-Pt alloy nanoparticles and mesoporous CeO2support.
