Application
Potassium chloride has been used in the preparation of the following Amorphous calcium phosphate (ACP) deposition solution used for ACP coating on Ti coupons. Modified methylene blue (MB) solution utilized in the MB two-phase titration method. 4-(2-Hydroxyethyl)-1-piperazineethanesulfonic acid (HEPES)-containing artificial cerebrospinal fluid (ACSF) solutions. May be used for the preparation of phosphate buffered saline and for the extraction and solubilization of proteins.

General Description
Potassium chloride is an inorganic salt commonly used in fertilizer industry. Its generation via chlorination of microcline has been reported.The intrinsic and extrinsic conductivity of KCl crystals have been measured.The impact of KCl on the activity of mitochondrial membrane cristae and matrix proteins has been investigated.It facilitates the preparation of isoxazolines in aqueous medium.
